Behind the lens
The Portrait Booth is operated by Jared Wood, a Philadelphia-based photographer with over 400 weddings photographed and a background rooted in fine art portraiture. Trained under Tyler Boye, Ben Adams, and Ben Hartley, Jared has spent years developing the eye for light, posing, and emotional authenticity that makes a portrait worth printing.
The Portrait Booth is a natural extension of that — taking the same discipline and intentionality into a studio format that travels to wherever your event happens to be. It's also a separate offering from Days Away Creative Wedding Photography, which means your wedding photographer and The Portrait Booth can work the same event without overlap or conflict.
