Alex and Allie kicked off the best time of the year to start enjoying the sand and salt air. I’ve shot a handful of weddings down in Cape May, NJ but rarely spend time there personally. The weather was just perfect for these two to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Peter Shield’s Inn Restaurant and the beach it say directly behind. They even provided these great fleece blankets for their guests as it got windy.
I’m noticing that brunch weddings are becoming more and more popular. In this case I arrived just as they were serving brunch before the ceremonies of the day began. They had a great time as their guests partied throughout the late morning into the early afternoon then back to their rooms to rest up for a night of partying at Cape May’s local waterholes to finish off the celebrations. What a unique day. I was happy to be a part of it.
